When it comes to health berries have a fab rep. Blueberries are packed with antioxidants, (called anthocyanins), that may help keep memory sharp and raspberries contain ellagic acid, a compound with anti-cancer properties. They’re also a great sources of fiber, which aids a healthy digestive system. Oh and the best bit? They are DEE-LISH.

But if you need more reasons to dig into summer’s sun-kissed little fruits, take a look at some of my favourite brekkies brimming with berries. What’s more they have the added bonus of containing some of Bioglan’s Superfoods to add more bang to your buck and more spring to your step.

1. Two Berry Pancakes

Ingredients: (Makes 6 small pancakes)

1/2 small punnet of blueberries

1/2 small punnet of blackberries

1/2 cup oatmeal (uncooked)

2 tsps coconut flour

Two whole eggs

1 scoop Bioglan 14 Day Superfood Replenish Shake Vanilla

One banana

Sprinkle of cinnamon

Coconut oil (to cook)

Topping:

Bioglan 14 Day Superfood Replenish Shake Vanilla with almond milk.

Method

Blend. Fry in coconut oil until golden on each side. Serve with your choice of topping.

2. Berry Good Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

1/4 punnet blueberries

1/4 punnet blackberries

1/4 punnet raspberries

1/2 banana

1/2 tbs Bioglan Chia and Flax seeds

Topping

Coconut pieces

Bioglan Energy Boost powder

Granola (optional)

Method

Blend the ingredients and add your choice of toppings.

Blackberry Beauty Smoothie

Ingredients:

1/4 punnet blueberries

1/4 punnet blackberries

1/2 banana

1 Scoop Bioglan 14 Day Superfood Replenish Shake Vanilla
