If only all London days consisted of lovely lunches at pretty picturesque places like Pantry at 108 with lovely people like Lucy Robinson. Pantry 108 is the new totally charming healthy restaurant at The Marylebone Hotel. It’s warm, inviting, cosy, comfortable, relaxed and it has a kick-ass menu guaranteed to give you a kick-ass health kick. Think superfood salads, greens galore – there’s a salad which I savored with no less than 12 types of baby lettuce and microgreens (see below) – butternut squash with feta and seeds, homemade tart of the day, omelette, fresh salmon and sides of avocado. It’s clear these folks know the way to a healthy London gal’s heart!

Despite what you could think, this salad had plenty of peppery flavor mixed with salty soft salmon. The avocado made a perfect side, although it was slightly hard.
The verdict: It’s not easy to find a healthy central London hangout which isn’t heaving with hasty pushers and shovers AND that delivers a delightful menu. Yet, Pantry 108 is spacious without sacrificing warmth, calm but has a buzz, boasts excellent table service, a wonderful crackling fire, the comfiest cushiest armchairs and sofas and a menu that has all the main healthy options on it. Pantry 108 could perhaps expand on the menu to include a wider variety – perhaps add more protein options like chicken and tofu and more salads – but the essentials are there. The Juicery smoothie menu is a revitalising plus featuring super-boosters such as Maca and supergreen mixes.
