SKC… What could it be?

October 1, 2014

So, as promised, here’s the post on SKC. It stands for South Kensington Club (or Seriously Kick-ass Club as I think I may come to refer to it as).

The exclusive soon-to-launch club is dedicated to health and fitness. It has a state-of-the-art gym, Turkish Hammam (sauna) Russina Banyas, (a steam room heated with firewood) a Watsu pool (a warm, clear water pool with a depth at which someone can, with feet spread and knees bent, settle down into the water as if sitting in a chair and complete a series of exercises), treatment rooms, concierge service AND MORE!! What more? I hear you cry. Ok well, there’s also a Mediterranean restaurant, a members sitting room and a Voyagers club (which will organise expeditions) – and which I am particularly excited about.

The club looks set to make an impressive mark on London’s fitness and social scene when it opens in January – since it offers so much. Members are encouraged to relax, socialise, eat, workout, drink (think more green juices than Grey Goose’s) get pampered and meet like-minded people. I never thought I’d say it, but, bring on January!

Last Night: I’m excited after learning more about SKC at a pre-launch drinks party. The club will open in January (you heard it here first)!
